That is pretty irracional Robert, but I suppose in a panic situation it is possible not to think straight and some people can't quite have the presence of mind to realise the gravity of their predicament. Monty Python is too gruesome to find it remotely funny for me, but some people do find it funny.

Victoria, I tried to find Brett Whitely Baci and found just a quote in Italian, maybe there is more about him, I gather his paintings are on this surrealist vein we are talking about.

Maria,
Brett Whiteley is an Australian artist .. 1939-1992.
I wouldn't call his paintings surrealist, maybe I would think of his style as just abstract, with a fluid edge. He did some scenes, but mostly his work is of a very sexual nature. Personally I can't see any real talent there .. a lot of those type of paintings, when I look at them I think anyone could do them. Plus they are distorted .. like his mind .. of course this is only my view.
He is not my cup of tea .. but he is fairly famous and his work commands high prices.
I believe he has some work in the Tate Gallery in London.

Maria,

Another good painting from our talented friend!
From my layperson opinion, I can see it is done by the same artist..(yourself of course) that painted the previous painting .. meaning the style is similar. Nice colours too.

Yes, I like the way the light falls on the sheep, and the houses have a nice mellow colour.
