Heir Hunter´s Show

The BBC has approved the seventh series of the ´Heir Hunter´show. We have now finished the sixth series which will be shown either Jan or Feb of next year and the BBC liked it, they are pleased with it so that´s why they have now commissioned the seventh series too, which in my opinion will be even better than the last ones, because we have very good, exciting stories and they will be surprised by them when we write them the new ones for their approval, as this show has in itself become an effective tool to reach more people and even solve cases that have remained unsolved until now.. in very surprising ways but I won´t be letting the cat out of the bag as I want people to see the show and find out for themselves. Peter is also getting more used to the cameras, so he looks more natural having had all this experience now is coming to him like a second nature.

I learnt that David Pacifico from Fraser & Fraser's is a keen ball room dancer so if the series continues the way it is going.. I can see myself dancing with David in that other show for celebrities! ha,ha,ha. I had better start to learn how to dance though. Just kidding here. It was a member of the public who told me this detail about David Pacifico she is a Jewish lady who watches Heir Hunters and had met David somewhere. Also, the BBC has sold the show to the History Channel and also to the Australian T.V. where some of our clients have seen us in the show there too. They also put sections of the show in You Tube. In the new series, we will appear at the new office, so you will be able to see how it all looks, with its wooden beams, Oh.. and before I forget as this is the most important thing, is that the BBC are going to start showing the programme at Prime Time, round seven O'clock maybe they will have Peter and Hector presenting the show or they might just re-edit it the series for a one hour show in the evenings, we are not sure yet what they will decide to do, but all in all, things are going very well.

Once the show hits the prime time slot ( which it has already been approved ) everyone will see it, as right now, we are missing the people who are at work in the mornings but this new slot will reach people who come back from work and sit to watch their telly whilst having dinner. I can see that it will really take off. Although at one point last month, it was being shown in the morning and again in the History Channel at 7 P.M. so I suppose the viewing was good and have now decided it will do well at the other BBC channel in the evenings. Well, that's all the news.

Hi Maria

That is excellent news! The whole thing is really taking off.

I'm not too sure about the idea of genealogists dancing, though. You start off dancing with a genealogist but before long they want to dance with your parents, and then your grandparents, and then your great-grandparents.....

I'm expecting to see some expertly arranged flowers on Peter's desk.

Ha,ha,ha. Well, I can always hang one of my flower paintings on the wall. On the 'cherry' tape that the producers have sent us for next year's new programme that will be aired in January of 2012, appears on Peter's computer monitor my picture of the sheep grazing in the evening glow and a farmland. I have also reserved the wall behind Peter's desk to put another one of my paintings. Who knows..I might even get a commission for a painting. Ha,ha,ha

Yes indeed. Maybe you could do a painting of you and Peter, which you could base on a photograph.

Maria said...

Why would I base it on a photo when I have my live subject across my desk but your idea of the joint portrait its a very good one, see how good you are to me? you are the only friend I have ever had who has encouraged my painting. Who knows, when I die and if my paintings amount to something my friend Robert will be prominent in my story. So far, I have at least sold more paintings than tragic Vincent Van Gogh so that's not bad going..

Hi Maria

Your pictures deserve to be recognized and I'm sure they will be.

The reason I suggested the photo is, although you can see Peter you can't see yourself with Peter unless the two of you sit in front of a mirror, that's why I thought the photo would help.

It was sad about Vincent but what does he expect when he goes to Sweeney Todd for a shave? Ha!

Now you made me blush! I have found out what is the name of the hills that I´m painting at the moment, my friend Sue who will be organizing my exhibition told me that her boyfriend loves those hills and has said that when he dies he wants his ashes scattered there. Who knows.. he might want to own this painting too. I have advanced on it yesterday and a funny thing happened when I was parked in the field, one of our neighbours stopped as he thought I had had an accident because no one in their right mind would willingly stop in that steep ditch I go to paint but its the only place I can be, to capture that scene. For the joint painting, I can see myself in a mirror.

Hi Maria

It's interesting the way some people say where they would like to be scattered or buried. I believe Patrick Macnee, who played Steed in the Avengers, wants to be buried in Bosham even though he lives in America. Bosham is a beautidul village in Sussex.

Hi Maria

Oh, I'm going to be buried where the rest of my family are buried.

If I ever went to the US, it would have to be to a place with a history, such as the east coast with its witch trials, or Tombstone with its OK Coral story.

Robert, I don't think I have thought that far, hopefully it won't be soon! but sometimes you can't choose. Look at the victims of the Titanic or the Air France plane that fell in the ocean. When Van Gogh died Pizarro paid for him to be buried which was rather touching as Vincent didn't have a penny to his name.

Hi Maria

I probably won't be buried at sea, because I won't go near it - horrible wet stuff, the sea is. On the other hand, if David Cameron told me he was going to dance on my grave, I would certainly consider being buried at sea.

You are sounding rather macabre this morning Robert. When my mother died she was buried in a lovely cemetery where we have a family plot and the ceremony was conducted in a big markee with all her friends and family. At the funeral house my mother looked stunningly beautiful like a sleeping beauty surrounded by flowers and in the two living rooms with a pretty garden were all her friends are relatives who had come to pay her respects and it was very soothing that they were able to come and acompany us in this tragic and sad time for us.

Hi Maria

Yes, it is a comfort when the friends come as well as the family. Your mum had a nice funeral, and that's a comfort too.

My family are buried in two cemeteries virtually adjoining each other.

Maria said...

Yes its very true, having the relatives and so many of my mum's friends was a great comfort to us, my mother was very popular and loved. Seeing her inside her crystal casket sleeping, gave me the feeling she hadn't died.

I know that cemetary you are referring to, where your family is, its huge! and it has two different names, even though they are adjoining each other.

Hi Maria

yes, I go in one cemetery to visit the grave, then cross the road and go in the other one. Although I want to be buried there I don't want to be buried there for a few years yet, so I am going to buy some nice healthy salad just like you keep telling me to do!

I'm very glad to hear it. Friends like you don't exist anymore in this day and age and I do like to make lifelong friendships so take tremendous care of yourself Robert.

Ha! Now you're making ME blush! Don't worry, I want to get my royal 100th birthday message from the Queen. But by then instead of it being a telegram or a birthday card, it will probably be a text message from King William.

Maria said...

I hope it will be more than one telegram from King William Robert. There is this little old lady who has had four cards with the Queen's signed photo and she said that the four had been the same photo of the Queen in a yellow dress, so the following year the palace changed the card with a blue dress. Do you know that Victoria's husband has a granny who is 105 years old and they come to visit her every year.

I hope it will be more than one telegram from King William Robert. There was this little old lady who received three and she complained that the three cards had an identical photo of the Queen wearing the same yellow dress, so for her following birthday the palace sent her a card with the Queen wearing a blue dress.

Robert said...

105? That's some achievement!

Yes, I remember the case of the yellow dress. The centenarians can still keep the octogenarians on their toes.

Maria said...

Oh Yes, 105. Dennis, (Victoria´s husband´s grandmother) is also 105, she lives in the North of England and every year, they come to visit her from Australia.

This relatively good source or information. I hope you will catch people and find the missing beneficiary for their family.
